I created a group on Facebook for discussions between meetings. The goal of this group is to facilitate conversations, provide a better outlet for alerting events/news and help grow the community. We will continue to send out club level news/events/notifications out via email and the forum.

I have it set as a closed group so the public can't see the posts. However, this means that you'll need to request to join the group. If anyone wants to be an admin that isn't an officer, let me know.
I'm not sure what will happen to the forum in the long term, but I do know that it's not working well for social communication within the group and for now that's all I want this to do.
