Our members, Maggie and Steve, have purchased a property where they wish to provide a place that educates about beekeeping. They have started a GoFundMe page that you can contribute to in order to see their dream come alive.

We are getting to the point of being ready to take out the Imperial Stout that is in the barrel and add the Wee Heavy. For the members participating, you can find the recipe and instructions here.

Join Silver Creek Spirits and Grain Connections as they tour their farms and the distillery to learn how the ingredients are grown and used in the distillation process. Lunch will be provided. You must register here

Silver Tree Beer and Spirits in Paxton has invited us to help with part of a distilling day along with a tour of their facilities. Afterwards, we will enjoy their wares in their taproom.

This year marks our 28th homebrew competition. Volunteers will be fed breakfast and lunch. You can sign up to submit entries or volunteer by going here.

Club members will get to show off their chili making skills at our first chili cook-off! Members will get free entry to the event. If you plan on submitting chili or providing homebrew, please register here.

Rules: You will brew the style for the designated monthly meeting where it will be judged by a few of our BJCP judges. You will get points based on the below criteria. The brewer with the most points at the end of the year will win prizes! You can download the guidelines from BJCP.org
