Our members, Maggie and Steve, have purchased a property where they wish to provide a place that educates about beekeeping. They have started a GoFundMe page that you can contribute to in order to see their dream come alive.

The next barrel project has begun. The first is a wheatwine where you can find the recipe here or the Brewfather link here. We will likely have another project soon. Details to come

Our August meeting will be Thursday August 6 at 7pm hosted by Blind Pig Brewpub. Chris Wilhelmi will be doing a presentation on malt as he is works for Rahr Malting now. Join in-person or via the Zoom link in your email around 730pm.

Maggie has invited Gordon Strong to do a virtual cider tasting with us. Join at the Bee Space, 706 S. Birch St in Urbana, where you will be provided with 4 different ciders. There will be a $5 fee as well. Text Maggie if you wish to come 217-722-8513
